What DO I think about Glenn Beck?
by AK - Jeff ini think of myself as 'moderate libertarian' if i must attach a lapel card.
and i'm not sure that is entirely the correct one.. i endorse fiscal conservative thinking, believe in limited government, and a strong domestic defense policy.
in these areas, i could find myself in agreement with the talk show host.

Ri, stop running away from my statements and respond to them.
Here it is again as a reminder:
"As for your pathetic comment, who the hell are you to make such a sweeping statement against 1 billion people? Why don't you blame Fundamentalist Jews, inside or outside of Israel, for the abominations found in their Bible?"

If you're going to talk about rape, Ri, take a look at this:
Numbers 31:13-18 (New International Version)
13 Moses, Eleazar the priest and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp.
14 Moses was angry with the officers of the army—the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds
—who returned from the battle.
15 “Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them.
16 “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the LORD in the Peor incident,
so that a plague struck the LORD’s people.
17 Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man,
18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man.

Sorry I got the name wrong. She is Lara Logan....the 60 minutes news woman that was rape by the muslim Islamic men in Tihir Square. The peaceful religion???
First Ri, it would help a lot if you wrote in the normal size font that most posters prefer. The other posters are forced to write in the size font you do when they quote due to glitches in the program that creates problems.
As for your pathetic comment, who the hell are you to make such a sweeping statement against 1 billion people? Why don't you blame Fundamentalist Jews, inside or outside of Israel, for the abominations found in their Bible?
Bottom line; your kind is forever talking out of both sides of their mouths. You can't stand taking the medicine that you ram down others throats. While your fellow psychos are hallucinating Sharia law creeping into our Judicial system; Dominion Christianity, a Theocratic movement that advocates taking over the United States and imposing Old Testament Laws upon that nation, is gaining major influence upon Conservative politicians, Televangelists and has made major inroads in traditional Fundamentalist religions.
Look at the example below of an Old Testament law before you open your bigoted mouth.
Deuteronomy 25:11-12 (New International Version)
11 If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant,
and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts,
12 you shall cut off her hand. Show her no pity.
You may now burn your Bible.

"...in case of an attack on the buses by Angry Christians..." Atheists sue
by Rabbit into me...the following story exemplifies why freedom of speech is so important.
people should be exposed to differing ideas & beliefs for their own good.. my comment is highlighted below, it's funny, sad & i realize...not representative of most christians.
(most, i believe will think about it, but, not act on it) .

If anyone can put a bumpersticker for or against a religious concept then anyone should have the right to advertise their views in public areas or vehicles.

Of Teapots and the Tooth Fairy
by AK - Jeff in"a friend, an intelligent lapsed jew who observes the sabbath for reasons of cultural solidarity, describes himself as a tooth fairy agnostic.
he will not call himself an atheist because it is in principle impossible to prove a negative.
but "agnostic" on its own might suggest that he though god's existence or non-existence equally likely.

Freeflyingfaerie: "But there ARE Faeries "
There once was a fictional detective by the name of Sherlock Holmes. He was the kind of fellow who would whip out an oversize magnifying glass, analyze a cat's hair and cry out, "Elementary, my Dear Watson". One would assume that the author of the Sherlock Holmes novels was an intelligent and knowledgeable man himself. After all, how could a writer create a fictional character more intelligent and knowledgeable than he?
The author of the Sherlock Holmes detective novels was Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He was a man of many interests and actually investigated two real life cases in which he succeeded in exonerating the accused. But we all have our foibles and intelligent people can believe in some very things. Like the invisible return of Jesus in 1914. Well that's another story so let's get back to Conan Doyle.
After the deaths of his dearly beloved wife; his son and brother; two nephews and two brothers in law; Conan Doyle fell into a deep depression. He desperately wanted to find out if there was proof of life after death. He adopted spiritualism as his religion. The spiritualism he adopted had a belief in the existence of practically every being from the N th dimension. They included Divas, nature spirits, elementals (gnomes, ondines, sylphs and salamanders) and last, but not least, faeries.
When Conan Doyle adopted the teachings of Theosophy he bought into the whole schlock. Then one day, he ran into some pictures taken by two teenage girls with an early 20th century vintage camera. These girls, as you shall soon see, must have had a lot of time on their hands. To them it was a lot of fun until their pictures got into the hands of the creator of that astoundingly hyper logical detective.
Soon Conan Doyle wrote another book. This book, unlike his detective novels, would sink into the underworld of books long dead. Why? Just a hint. He was dead serious about proving the existence of those wee, dainty, floating critters who rose from the swamp of theosophy's imagination. And what would you guess his evidence was? Read it and weep.
You can get the book for free from this PDF. Or, if you are in desperate of a gag gift, you can purchase it from Amazon.com real cheap.
Now please show these pictures to people on the street
.
and tell them that they have to be agnostic about them.

Money money money...does not make a man or woman evil...it is what he or she does with their money ...I say George Soros is a true evil in the way he conducts himself and uses money to manipulate all his little organizations to do his will, not for good but for chaos everywhere in the world.
Beck is a blessed force for good. We know how it ends in the end and God wins over evil.
Pray to God in heaven for Glenn Beck and his safe keeping
Based on a sampling of pro Beck supporters and the assumption that JWN has an unbiased cross section of political opinions matching the rest of the nation; I draw the following conclusion:

Terry:
Glenn Beck wants BOTH a reality based model of the universe combined with supernatural belief in the unseen.
When he sticks to reality based thinking he can see what is true and so can we.
When he bases his beliefs, opinions and commentary on supernature it is quicksand.
Of course, "reality based thinking" is a code phrase for Terry's ideology. Basically Terry condemns Gwenn Dreck's religious bunk which while simultaneously praising him on his ideological bunk which Terry just happens to agree with.
That's like condemning a person's religious views while praising him for his belief in Astrology.
